Gladstone has its presence in all parts of India, through a network of representatives and in-house surveyors. With our Head office based in Kolkata, our Company enjoys the unique advantage of monitoring goods landed at Kolkata Port for further inland transportation.
Prior to the year 2000, the insurance survey market in India was highly fragmented, with each region being serviced by local / regional companies. Gladstone was amongst the first organizations to have a pan India presence with a single point contact window at our Kolkata Head Office, so that all clients only have to provide survey instructions to our Kolkata Head Office, and not different offices for the same company. Since each region of India has different working culture and style, our method of centralized operations is significantly convenient to our clients and has made it easier to provide the same level of service / reporting standard, throughout vast region of the Indian sub-continent.
We have an overall staff strength of about 50 members, who are qualified and experienced to deal with all types of cargo claims.
Apart from the above direct insurance clients, we also are a part of the TMN Survey Group Network (tmn-surveys.com) and agent of Battermann & Tillery Global Marine Gmbh in India.
